    Default Trip to Canada

Greetings all, I am heading to Montreal on the 27th for Rangers/Habs and upon return after the game I want to pick up Molson Export at a store as we do not get this version in the states. May any of you tell me if it is readily available in several stores or am I going to have to hunt for it, I'm thinking because I am in Montreal it shouldn't be too hard to track down.

Should be available at most convenience stores.

    Places I'd suggest to go:
    Schwartz Smoked Meat
Coldroom - speakeasy style bar. I loved this place. Solid vibe. Bar, not club
Atwater - speakeasy (not really tho). It's more club than bar. Not my jam, drinks rocked tho
    Bocata - Seafood
Mandy's - My gf loved this place. Vegan salad place. If that's your thing
Pub BreWskey - Beer. Beer good. Place good.

Schwartz sandwich with a side of poutine is a must. Although I guess it doesn't have to be from Schwartz.

And yes beer is available everywhere.

I don't even get a sandwich anymore. If a sandwich is lets say $13, for $15 you get 1lb of meat. So I just get meat and bring my own bread and mustard lol.

Then I get a pre-made hunk of meat that just needs to be steamed up for a few months later. Freezes really well actually since it's vacuumed packed.

it was great and yes we picked up a couple cases at a supermarket in Brossard. Parked at a garage right by Bell Centre and hit up this restaurant/bar called Bier Markt prior to the game. That spot was very nice, especially a live DJ, and reminded me a lot of my days living in the NYC area the amount of life the place had on a weeknight. Rangers made a great comeback in that game after what started like a typical bludgeoning by the Habs when coming up north. The women I spoke with all assumed I came from the actual city and I found it difficult to change their minds haha. It was a snowy night so we headed back to the states immediately after the game, the white outs on 15 were an adventure. My apologies for not hitting any of the suggested spots, my friend who drove worked a half day so we arrived at 5:30 and had time for that spot close to the venue. I will more than likely return in summertime and will revisit this feed.

sounds like it was fun . I've been to around 30 nhl games over the years but mainly at the old maple leaf gardens , ACC and Ottawa . I'd love to experience a Habs game and take a few days to see some of the sights .
