Bump... Any feedback would be appreciated, please and thanks.
Hey guys, I have been going back and forth with a fellow GM on a trade trying to work out the details. I think it's mostly worked out except for the picks.
The trade offer is (me giving up)
Monahan
RNH
2nd round pick
I would recieve:
Backstrom
Marchesault
6th rd pick
I'm debating whether there is enough of a difference between the 2 sides that I would want to give up a 2nd round pick in next years redraft.

What's your reasoning for giving up a 2 for backstrom and march? I think you are only marginally improving your team here at the expense of next year. Seems like its just a trade to make a trade. I wouldn't make the move

I like what he is getting better.
McDavid/Necas/ Kucherov/Bjorkstrand/Rust/Nugent Hopkins/Cirelli/Zegras/- Letang/Morrissey/Dahlin - Swayman/Saros/Skinner
Prospects include:
McTavish/Clarke/Bordeleau
Dumais/Korchinski/Hutson
Don't worry I'm not going to say anything more than I have to. If that.
I don't see why the pick swap is necessary. The players themselves a pretty equal.
