Keep 6 and out of the playoffs.
Early on I acquire Vas when he was struggling.
I just acquired McDavid from a contending team because of his injury.
The top team wants to boost his goaltending & offered Binnington & P.Kane for Vas & Bergeron.
I like Kane but not at the expense of Vasilevskiy.
Another team with assets and building said he would consider offering Crosby, Matthews for McDavid.
Keeping Vasilevskiy & micas core pieces in a keep 6 is the way to go.
Touts turn down Crosby, Matthews if the offer is presented.

While I may not want to move McDavid, you do have to admit the guy (possibly?) offering Crosby & Matthews isn't lowballing you at all. It's one that you do need to consider, you'd be getting two top 10-ish (perhaps top 7) guys in fantasy.
I somewhat like the idea of turning Vasilevskiy into a top tier skater, but not that package.

Don't trade mcdavid in a keep 6. Just don't do it.
If you must do it then I'm of the opinion that the trade must all but guarantee you at least one championship. Vas I'm open to moving.
