I am out of the playoffs this year, but these are all guys I want to target this off season. So their value would be next year and beyond.

    Hamilton (he’s arrived)
    —————
Rielly (Leafs are a mess, lost PP1)
    Theodore (Finally breaking out)
    Werenski (CBJ offensive catalyst)
    —————
    Jones (Werenski blocking productivity)
    Dumba (Doesn’t look the same)
    Risto (Dahlin in his way)

I like this list other than the fact I would drop Theodore down 1-3 slots.

I would have thought in a keeper league that Sergachev at least is worth a mention. Good solid production right now and some Roman Josi numbers coming in 3/4 years.

I mean there are a ton more D worth a mention, and Sergachev fits in with that group talent-wise, but I think these were the D available to the GM at the time.

Yes. It's just that Sergachev was on the list of the original post and then completely dropped thereafter. I think he's worthy of sitting comfortably in the middle of the pack mentioned.

Ah, fair enough. I had completely missed him. Wasn't that he was left off on purpose. I think for me he slots in somewhere between Werenski and Dumba.

Sorry, Yes I missed Sergachev. I would slot him in at the bottom with Risto. He is buried behind Hedman for that coveted PP spot.

As for Rielly losing PP 1, I would argue that it is unlikely Barrie will be a Maple Leaf next season. Thus, Rielly will once again feast on that top unit.

Hamilton, is going to be coming off a pretty major injury and has always had a history of being hot and cold. I can't elevate him to the top of the list unless he proves himself again next season.

The reason I rate Theodore higher than Jones and Werenski is he seems to have really found himself this season. He is shooting around 3 shots a game, right where you want your PP quarterback, and he is getting the lions share of PP time in Vegas who are loaded with offensive talent. This is what all Theodore owners have been hoping for for years.

I think Dumba bounces back somewhat next season. I mean how long can Suter be the man on the Minny blue line? He could be a sneaky good late pick up in next years draft.
