    Default Playoff Push Trade

Had been sitting 2nd overall most of the season but starting to face some late season struggles and down to 4th. The trade deadline is this Sunday and I have been trying to push for a big player to help get me decently through the playoffs. The current deal on the table is I'd get Barkov, Brannstrom, and the first pick of the 3rd round in exchange for Nick Suzuki, Frost, Gavrikov, and my 1st round pick (hopefully late round if I do well).

Been going back and forth for a couple days now with the guy and the only way this happens is with Suzuki leaving, but his current production and future seem like a lot to give up especially along side all the rest of that. Welcome all thoughts and opinions on this. Thanks

there are a bunch of moving pieces here so just throwing this out there, barkov, a proven 24 year old 90+ point player with 100 point potential for suzuki who you hope has that sort of production?

i think you make this trade and dont look back

I would make that deal straight up for Barkov, and not even blink. Getting back Brannstrom to help a bit of minors depth, as well as a filler pick is just gravy.

That pick should be late in the round if you are in 4th, and getting Barkov, unless you have bad injury luck.

You are cashing in some possibles for a certain. Do that.

Worth it for you. Helps this year and likely even into the future.

No brainer, take the deal and have a shot at the belt! You could well be getting the two best players in the deal!
