Default Which goalie duo to go for? CAR / MIN / CHI / BUF?

    For my Team 2

I need to upgrade my goalies as playoff is looming. I have Andersen and Samsonov which are keepers and cannot be move. With Mrazek and Lehner, lately they aren't getting it done and is hurting my standing. I'm thinking of doing the following:

    1) Pick up either Reimer or Crawford, carry 5 goalies (not ideal)
    2) Drop Lehner for Reimer or Mrazek for Crawford, carry 4 goalies (Campbell is out of the question unfortunately)
    3) Trade for a duo (I can probably get Stalock / Dubnyk (very tempting), maybe Hutton / Ullmark) and unload Mrazek and Lehner

FA pool: Hutton, Allen, Talbot, Reimer, Stalock, Crawford, Miller

    Thanks in advance!

What about Holtby? He's just coming off a rotten performance and is losing ground to Samsonov. You might be able get their owner to give you Holtby for Lehner, which gives you the Washington tandem. Or, Mrazek+ for Holtby. Both trades would be quality for security, but that sometimes isn't the worst move when gearing up for playoffs.

I would hold them as they are. Carolina is a good team figuring out how to win without Hamilton, Lehner is a great goalie, especially with your categories, and with Andersen and Samsonov, you're pretty well off.
What does the FA pile look like for skaters? With 11 skater categories, and none of them AVG based like some of the goalie ones, I would be tempted to wait until right before playoffs, pick whichever goalie you don't want to keep (look at schedule, recent play, upcoming matchup, total games, etc) and then drop that goalie for another skater, and use him to try and win you a couple more skater categories.

    Thanks for the feedback guys!

    It's 3 goalies a week.

I tried to grab Holtby but the GM won't move him.. neither would the Campbell owner.

I like that idea Eskimo.. I can consider using the goalie spot to help out on skater stats too. Losing Andersen & Samsonov last week really screwed my team over.. lost some grounds and I don't want to lose out on a Bye week

What do you mean it's 3 goalies a week?

    I meant 3 goalie starts a night.

I've updated my signature also. Weber is probably expandable so I'm tempted to just drop Weber for Hutton or Stalock for spot starting this week. (I doubt Samsonov is playing tomorrow, Andersen is still iffy, and Mrazek... toss up)

Gotcha. That would have been good info to start with. Changes how tough it would then be to catch up on the counting stats if you're not running more goalies. Does make me lean a little more towards owning another guy. Hutton is tempting as he should have the lion's share of starts, at least temporarily.
