I have not followed this situation at all but I now have a chance to acquire him for a fairly reasonable price (Kovalchuk and Zamula)- its a deep cap dynasty so both pieces have pretty good value but goalies are hard to get. Ive got an injured Andersen- an overachieving Elvis and a Dubnyk- lol! Adding a 4th guy even a timeshare would be a boon. Is he a 50/50 guy??

Seems like a cheap way to acquire a potential starting goalie.

He's got 2 more years on his contract and Mike Smith hasn't been great.

He should be a timeshare guy, but he's from the prior administration, so while he's been average they may look elsewhere.

I'd see if you can substitute someone else for Zamula, though.
10 team Head-to-head true dynasty. Roster 33, draft 2, cut down before season. Start 1 G, 1 backup G, 6 D, 12 F arranged in 4 lines of 3. Only categories that matter are Goals, Assists, Save% with a shutout bonus. Having NHL teammates helps.

    G: Bobrovsky
    Backup G: F Andersen
D: Ekblad, Yandle, Carlson, DeAngelo, Letang, Makar
    F1: Couturier, Giroux, Voracek
    F2: Schiefele, Wheeler, MacKinnon
    F3: Stamkos, Point, JT Miller
    F4: Bertuzzi, Tavares, Seguin

    Bench:
    G:
D: Barrie, M Reilly, Heiskanen, Klingberg, Morissey, Weegar
F: Bailey, Benn, Guentzel, Johnsson, Labanc, Mikheyev, Necas
    Reserve: Datsyuk

Agreed about zamula - I was so stoked about getting him off waivers- but he had to be included. I pulled the trigger in any case I'm a koskinen share holder!
