Good deal for both sides. I know many will say this walks Nurse right into unrestricted free agency, but I think the Oilers are ok with that. They needed to keep the AAV down as they are still in cap hell for at least one more year after this one and Nurse clearly wants to stay and build on what is going on in Edmonton.
I havent seen this posted on CapFriendly yet so I am sure about NTC/NMCs or any other specifics in regards to the signing.

The Edmonton Oilers have signed pending restricted free-agent defenceman Darnell Nurse to a two-year contract extension with an annual average value of $5.6 million, Sportsnet has confirmed.
Nurse, 25, is in the final months of a two-year contract signed in 2018 with a $3.2-million cap hit.
In 55 games this season, Nurse has four goals and 20 assists while consistently playing big minutes on the Oilers’ blue line.
Nurse is in his sixth season with Edmonton after it drafted him with the seventh overall pick of the 2013 NHL Draft.
