This is pretty close in my opinion. Aho may of struggled out of the gate this season, but he's already proven to be a higher point producer, 83 vs 70. I also like where the Canes are headed vs the Jets. I do believe Laine could out point Aho a couple seasons, but between the two I prefer Aho

In my league in sig I just acquired Laine this year.. but if I was offered Aho for my Laine I think I would be inclined to take it. Could end up being a mistake as Laine is looking great this season, but I'm also pretty high on Carolina in general.

If Aho stays a C/W, that's big. Aho is more points, and FOW, while Laine is more goals & SOG. Context dependent for me.

For your team, Laine. C's are great but they are common. Hard to find a stud RW. Cant find one on the wire. Without wing depth your fcked.

I would imagine you are keeping Matthews and Pettersson at C so for that reason I’d go with Laine.

I think you have received some awesome advice here. To make the right choice you have to dig in a bit deeper and the forum has done that, in your format and based on position eligibility Laine is the better option. No landslide by any means but going with Laine just makes a bit more sense.
