Domi VS Mantha
Hey all,
In my 1 year league (not the one in sig), I have 5 moves remaining and I was thinking of claiming Mantha who said today he would try to be back by February 15th on the waiver wire and drop Domi. I sit currently 2nd, only 14 points behind the 1st.
Should I do it?
League settings are basically 1 point for goal and 1 for assist... +2 for a hat trick, +1 for OT goals and +1 for shorthanded goals.

I dont know who else you have on your roster besides Domi, but I wouldn't make the move for Mantha until he is actually back. If someone beats you to it then so be it, but I wouldnt take that gamble if you are that close.

When they both 100% i would say i like Mantha slightly better than Domi. However, considering Mantha is coming back from pretty crappy injury it may take him few weeks or maybe till next season to get back to full health.

As with a lot of these decisions, it does matter where you sit in your league. You are second, probably trying to hold on to a first round bye, and I would guess that you need every point. But if you’re COMFORTABLY in 2nd, and with no penalty for being a +/- risk, I’d far rather have Mantha for your March playoffs.
