    Default Zegras/Bjorkstrand

They’ve been hyping up Bjorkstrand in the ramblings lately. I usually tend to trust them when they’re excited about a player. I have Zegras and am wondering if you all think that would be a fair trade? I had that offered to me before Christmas and I quickly turned it down due to me being a big Zegras fan. Should I revisit that offer?

    Whats your league setup?

Zegras tracks to be a very good prospect, but will be an assist guy more than a goal scorer. Bjorkstrand is more of a goal scorer than an assists guy.

Goals and assists are worth the same in my league.

Is it a cap league, is it deep/shallow, is there a minors system, how many teams, how many players do you keep, etc. etc.

How do keepers work vs prospects? Do you keep the prospects? Do they count as one of your 9 keepers?

There's the piece I needed. Yeah, I would keep Zegras then as he seems to be more valuable with your setup. Bjorkstrand is a good target, but not at that cost.

I easily want Zegras over Bjorkstrand. Zegras could be a star and I would be very surprised if he didn't become at least a #2 C. Bjorkstrand is a nice player but doesn't have the upside IMO.

Since Bjorkstrand has to make your top 9 actives to be keepable, I think I would hold Zegras for now.

I'm not sure you have 9 better keepers, but it's close.

Yeah, I’m currently rebuilding. I wanted to solidify my D and prospects first. Hopefully I have a few gems in Zegras, Caufield, Turcotte, and Cozens. I’m counting on them to carry my forward group for many years. If Ty Smith pans out, that’s a bonus.
