    Default Elvis Offer

Just received an offer in my league:

HIS Elvis and a mid round vet draft pick

    for

one of MY Rantanen, Marner, or Pettersson

My thoughts: All are impact young players, but goalies hold such high value in the league because they take up 40% of the categories. In order to get a top tier, young goalie will take giving up a top tier skater. Currently sitting 5th in the league and entered as an expansion team 3 years ago. 3rd and 8th are separated by 5 points. Would you pull the trigger based on my roster?

Thank you in advance for the advice.

That’s a big hell no to all of those options. You should be able to bet a far more proven goalie for any of those guys.

I'd say no. You'd be buying high. I originally typed that Elvis was so hot the hype is inflating his name value, but his name is actually Elvis, and you can't really inflate that level of name.
