Rantanen, Gaudreau et al
Hello,
I targeted the owner of Rantanen and Gaudreau. The trade went like this:
Rantanen, Gaudreau, Pietrangelo
for
Hall, JT Miller and Hedman
I can only keep two of these players. I would like to trade one of them for picks. I think I bought two slumping top 10 guys for cheap. I lose Hedman, but the difference between him and Pietrangelo is negligible. Wondering what you see for Gaudreau for the back half? I have full confidence in Rantanen but wondering about Gaudreau and whether Pietrangelo is the better keeper?

the deal end of day comes down to Gaudreau returning to form or not. You dealt a multi-cat stud in Miller who is more valuable in this format so you need Gaudreau regaining elite offensive form to compensate. Rantanen is a set and forget of course, right now it's a wash between the defenders, Pietrangelo is in Hedman's stratosphere throughout the campaign so far. Make or break plain and simple is end of year production compared between JT/Johnny.
