Choose a player to sacrifice

Hi !!

I'm currently 2nd in my keeper (2pts behind the leader). It's not the one in sig, but it's the same rules (pts only, keep 21 1way contracts)

I have the opportunity to get Backstrom in a trade (I can deal with his future salary). The other GM wants pick and prospect to rebuild.

Which prospect would you sacrifice in my prospect pool :
- E. Tolvanen
- G. Vilardi
- J. Robertson
- G. Denisenko
- E. Brannstrom (I don't think so!)
- T. Demko
- UP. Luukkonen

Tolvanen don't seems to progress in AHL and is already in his 2nd ELC year ...
Vilardi is finally back on ice and I think he still can become a top 6 player (he's just 20).
Do Demko will have a chance soon (in VAN ou elsewhere) or should I trade him while he still have good value?

And how many years do you think Backstrom will still keep his 0.9PPG pace?

I'd consider Tolvanen.
Though if he doesn't like that prospect. I would strongly consider Brannstrom, Vilardi or Roberston.
Do not move Denisenko, he jumps right into Florida's top 6 next season.

I would want to hold onto Demko; at least till end of this season. See how he finishes and what comes of Markstrom as a UFA.

Backstrom ppg pace will slowly drop over next couple years. I don't think it will be a drastic drop. Believe he stays around 0.8 for next 2 seasons.

Moving any of these guys for Backstrom is not a bad thing. The guys I would be trying to hang onto are Brannstrom, Denisenko and your goalies. Meaning Valardi, Tolvanen and Robertson are the guys you want to try and move. Hopefully the other GM likes one of them. Packaging up two of the three is not an overpayment either IMO. If the cap hit is not a problem, you will have a PPG forward for the next few years.
