    Default JT Miller

I already own the linemates in Petey and Boeser. Is Miller worth going after if he is owned by the last place guy in my league? I don't like having to many of the same team on my squad but he is still scoring and hits at a decent pace.

Miller is the real deal. He drives the play on whatever line he's playing on and generally makes good choices with the puck. He also fills stats pretty well.

I don't see a problem adding Miller to your team. It might hurt on the weeks in which Vancouver doesn't play a lot of games, but your roster is big enough that you can probably work around that.

Depends on the price. His value is at an all time high. Hard for me to think that he's more then a 65 point pace player (this year he will get 70+). He looks great out there but even at that it would be a 10-15 point bump on his career averages to this point.

It's easy to explain the increase in scoring though, more TOI, WAY more PPTOI, better consistent linemates (I know he played a bit with Kucherov et al in Tampa, but it wasn't consistent). His TOI alone is up over 4 min+ over his career average, and over 5 minutes more than last year in Tampa, and his PPTOI is almost two minutes more per game than his career average/last year in Tampa. Personally I think he's just like a lot of power forwards, bit of a late bloomer, had to find a good match, and now that he has, I can easily see this being the Miller we get for at least a few years.

That said, if I was trading for him, I would absolutely be pumping the breaks on his production :P
