im assuming you will compete for championship this year so i like that move for you for this year but i think you will regret it down the road. Having said that, i think you need to ask for a pick with this ...Pettersson has more name value already...the hype is still there as where Schefiele is very solid but he is what he is at this point.

Scheifele has taken another step this season and so far avoided injury, he is maybe the second most underappreciated superstar to Huberdeau. As far as the move overall it is a wash out IMO, Scheifele a better goal scorer but they are neck and neck. Yes he is still young at 26 but only because Elias still a kid I retain him. You're looking at a decade plus of dominance with him compared to 5-7 more years for Mark.Originally Posted by Belexus75

I think you'd really regret that immediately following this season, and I think points wise anyway, they'll be a wash ROS, with Petey even possibly outscoring Scheifele down the stretch. Only reason I would do that trade is if you're confident it's enough of a boost to your other stats to give you a real shot at a championship. Which I don't actually see, as the only cat he's better in is FOW.
I'd hold onto Petterrson.

Funny enough, if I had Scheifele, I wouldn't trade him for Pettersson.

As others have pointed out. It's just not that much if any of an upgrade to make the trade. Right now if this is all each would every be, I like Schief slightly more but my suspicions are Petey has another gear which moves him into that tier just below the truly elite.
