Guenztel Replacement

Didn't want to hi-jack another Guentzel thread. I was hoping to trade a forward for a top D-man and then use my last drop on Schultz, but it looks like that plan is out.

Should I leave Guentzel as a dead spot on my team and try to add a top D-man, or just use my last drop to replace him?

I would go either Killorn, Strome or Duclair. Not sure how they’re still available. Wish they were in my league, my WW is bone dry and I just lost Guentzel too...

Those three are doing great but I'm reluctant to trust them rest of the way...
Most proven guys are Staal and Getzlaf, but they are old men.

Agree with the above. I don't think you can go wrong with any of these guys! Personally, I would be grabbing Strome.

I think if you want most points/goals go Duclair. If you need less points overall but want faceoffs and assists go Strome. If you care about +\-, Killorn is on the best team.

I trust Duclair the least of those 3 options.

Killorn is PP1 in Tampa and with Stamkos on 2nd line.

Strome is PP1 in New York and with Panarin on 2nd line.

Duclair is PP1 in Ottawa and with Tierney and *Paul on 2nd line.


What offensive situation do you like better? TAM, NYR or OTT? Duclair plays with lesser players. Who do you like better Strome with Panarin and their top PP or Killorn with Stamkos and their top PP?

*Paul did score twice last night.

Killorn is in the best situation, both he and Strome are having career years playing with superstars. I think Strome is slightly the better player though. Tough one.

Where are you seeing that? Based on Dobber's Frozen Tools in the last game he was on PP1 62.5% of the time... last 3 games it's even higher at 75.8%.

Also, both Strome and Killorn had multi-point games last night. As mentioned, I prefer Strome as I feel he maintains his deployment longer than Killorn... but either are good choices... you just need to make a decision before it's too late.

Did the drop, Guenztel for Strome. Debated Killorn but as was said by lucafen4, T-bay spreads their scoring around too much, he could be a flavor of the month on that PP.
