Hard to say. He almost made the Sabres as a rookie so it wouldn't be crazy to think he could make them next year.
Production is harder to predict. He's a rookie so expectations should be tempered. Look at Jack Hughes this year. He's on pace for 34 pts this year currently. How many would have expected his brother Quinn (who's also a rookie) to be outproducing him at this point.

Cozens is probably closer to ready physically but Buffalo might also be hesitant to rush Cozens with the way Mittlestadt has developed after being thrown into the NHL too soon
