Darcy Kuemper appears to be in a lot of pain and has gone to the locker room.

From the looks of things, this does not seem like it’ll be a DTD injury.

Does this make Raanta a must add considering the Yotes defensive system?

I added Raanta in my league while watching the end of the Wild/Coyotes game. That did not look good for Kuemper. My guess is torn groin out for 3 months!

But it could also be that he knew how terrible he was playing and was hoping for a pull from the coaching staff and when he did not get it, he faked an injury to get out of the game.

It's one of those two options...or something in between!

Hmmm I see. And yea, Kuemper is at least out for a week going off his reaction

...this could turn out to be a major injury making Raanta as valuable of a handicap during season as possible, sort of like Perron after Tarasenko went down.

Because or that, I dropped Werenski leaving me a dman short to add Raanta ! Don’t feel I have any forwards or goalies to drop.

Raanta value jumps up dramatically if this is anything serious.

Judging by Kuemper’s reaction and the sequence, torn groin is possible, which means months not weeks.

Anyone want to bet that Raanta is injured before the new year as well?

Adin Hill could be a valuable spot starter in deeper leagues if this stretches out.

The team has listed him week-to-week. Whatever that means.

I’m willing to bet Adin Hill becomes a bigger factor than Raanta for the Coyotes

    According to Craig Morgan:

"Source: Coyotes feel they caught a break with G Darcy Kuemper’s lower-body injury in Thursday’s loss to Minnesota, but he may not return before the All-Star break. Wouldn’t be surprised if Antti Raanta plays both games of this back-to-back trip w/the holiday break following it."

Only if there's an injury. Raanta is clearly no 1 and a far better goalie.

Kuemper activated from IR. Hopefully he suits up for the first game back after the All-Star Break. Arizona plays 3 in 4 nights next week.

Kuemper (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Tuesday, per the NHL's official media site.

Kuemper has missed the last 14 games, but he'll be ready to rock following the All-Star break. While Kuemper was named to the Pacific Division All-Star team, he won't participate in the game, as Jacob Markstrom and David Rittich are set to replace Kuemper and Marc-Andre Fleury. The 29-year-old Kuemper posted a .929 save percentage and 15-8-2 record before getting injured, and he'll step back into a starting role following the break.

Kuemper is a "game time" decision for tonight. Hopefully this is finally the start of his return

Darcy Kuemper (lower body) will be a game-time decision on Monday night against Montreal.
Kuemper made it through Sunday's practice and the team wants to see how he feels going into Monday's match. This may be a situation where an update is provided prior to the pregame warmup, but we will keep you posted either way. Kuemper has been out since Dec. 19 due to a lower-body injury.

God I hope so. In one of my keeper leagues, I have the Sabres handcuff (both injured now) and Kuemper. Needless to say, I really need Darcy back.

Fingers crossed he is healthy and comes back tonight. Don't want him rushed either as we don't want him reinsuring himself.

I am hemorrhaging injuries on my roster right now. Lol.

Not Good for Kuemper and the Yotes...

    https://twitter.com/CraigSMorgan/sta...436089858?s=20

Darcy Kuemper apparently suffered an injury at the skate today and will not play tonight in Montreal, per source. Tough luck continues for Coyotes goalies.
