C. Dvorak trade

I have a pending trade for C. Dvorak. Does his value increase or decrease now with the Hall trade? This will help me decide if I should pull the trigger.

18 team keeper league; 25 players keep 21. Offensive categories include G, A, +/-, H, B, PPP, SHG, FOW.

It might. I wouldn't make a trade purely on that speculation unless it's a deal you would do without the arrival of Hall.

I think it increased. But either way I think Dvorak is criminally underrated. He’s having a very good year so far and id expect him to keep getting better. Don’t know what his ceiling quite is, but I think he’s headed to being at worst a 60 point top 6 forward with FOW and probably hits for multicat. He is going to be a top 100 fantasy player Over the course of his career as far as I can tell.

Dvorak's value could increase, especially if he centers a Hall/Kessel line. Dobber would probably agree.

Of course, whether you should make the deal depends on the other players involved.

Suggest you read Dobber's take on the trade. Dvorak could benefit significantly according to that Dobber guy. Also agree that Dvorak is underrated, he's often FA, and he likely shouldn't be.

Plus he has been awesome over about the last month. He may get better but he has been solid anyways.

Until we see how the lines shake out, we wont know much. I agree with Habsblood when he says you shouldnt make these trades simply based on those types of speculation.

I saw today that Dvorak was picked up by 2400 Yahoo! users and heard on NHL radio that he was centering a line with Kessel and Hall. So hopefully it works out!

Dvorak was also on PP1 with Hall tonight. I was certain the GWG was going to be credited to Dvorak, but it still shows as OEL's.

Axe made a very good point in that making moves like this based on speculation indeed has an element of risk associated with it. In this case however, seems like the speculation was accurate and Dvorak did indeed line up with Hall and Kessel. To get ahead, sometimes you have got to take on some risk. If this line starts to roll and stays together, Bingo!
