I'd probably flip Bjorkstrand and Beauvillier but other than that, I like it. Fabbri might be the best of the bunch if he can stay healthy.
Hey, I'm curious how you'd all rank these guys for a points-only keeper-league. They're all pretty similar in age (22-24), and I'm interested in:
A) this year only
B) high-end potential (long-term)
For this year only, my thinking is:
Fiala
Fabbri
Bjorkstrand
Beauvillier
Am I on the right track there?
And long-term, I really have no idea...
I'd probably flip Bjorkstrand and Beauvillier but other than that, I like it. Fabbri might be the best of the bunch if he can stay healthy.
10 Team, Points Only, Cash League

Keep 20/25 at seasons end, Cut 5 to FA for redrafting
Goalie points W=2pt L=-1pt SHO=2pt
Stamkos, Tavares, Eichel, Mercer, JRobertson, RThomas, Kucherov, Nugent-Hopkins, Tuch, KConnor, Necas, Point, Konecny, SJarvis, Cozenz, Morrissey, Bouchard, Josi, Novak, Tolvanen, Peterka, Brink
G- Vasilevskiy, Sorokin, Oettinger

For this year:
1. Beauvillier
2. Fiala
3. Bjorkstrand
4. Fabbri
Long Term:
1. Beauvillier
2. Fiala
3. Bjorkstrand
...
4. Fabbri
I don't think Robby Fabbri is for real.
Not.in.that.boat.
I do very much like both Beauvillier and Fiala's game.
Bjorkstrand could jump this list if he got a full season with a really high-end center.
Right now, that's PLD or bust in CBJ... which doesn't make his point prospects good anytime soon.
Wow, didn't expect this, I'm way higher on Bjorkstrand than I am on Beauviller, thought Fiala and Beauviller are close - of the three, I think Bjorkstrand with his lethal shot has the best chance of being a high end scorer (Fiala more of a dangler, Beauviller a playmaker with good finishing skills), though ironically Bjorkstrand has been snakebit finishing-wise this season. I understand your reasoning though, Bjorkstrand has the worst C situation of them - although I think Bjorkstrand is the kind of guy who will be an automatic on the PP for years and that alone means he'll play with a 1A center. Bjorkstrand
Beauvillier
Fabbri
Fiala
As long as it's points only and no plus minus
Fabbri should be good.
McDavid/Necas/ Kucherov/Bjorkstrand/Rust/Nugent Hopkins/Cirelli/Zegras/- Letang/Morrissey/Dahlin - Swayman/Saros/Skinner
Prospects include:
McTavish/Clarke/Bordeleau
Dumais/Korchinski/Hutson
Don't worry I'm not going to say anything more than I have to. If that.
Fiala got the message that was sent to him earlier this season, and he's showing he's very, very skilled. I think Bjorkstrand is the only other from the list with home run potential. Beavillier seems like he's destined to be a middle six guy, and Fabbri, although a great story for this season thus far, is one injury away from being dunzo.
