I wouldn't take this deal. Svech is a very good player and holds a lot of value in your format. He will only go up. With a 2nd rounder and 6 keepers you're holding a fairly high pick where you can get some decent young talent.

Also you have to look at the fact that Tank has had 3 injuries to the same shoulder now. He's about a 30-35 goal guy with 70 points and will regress, Tavares will regress too in the next few years. Svech will go up.

It might help your keepers, which seem to be very top heavy - I'm not sure who your 6th is.

However, Svechnikov will be a top keeper soon, and may already be one.

I'd likely pass due to the injury risk coming your way.

I took over a bottom of the league team and really spent a lot of time trading this year - so keepers has been really my only focus.

I was pondering my 6th keeper as well - hoping for a Demko starting role - any thoughts on trade targets and who I could move to get my keepers set for next year and to compete?

I'll be honest, I think the offer is a fair one. That said, what will this do for your team? Tank is a concern and JT ain't gettin' any younger. The guy you are giving up is poised to be a star in this league, he likely already is. If your in a win now mode, this is still concerning, JT will help but will Tank? If your building for the future, moving a player like Svech for that kind of return doesn't help you IMO. Either way, while this is an enticing offer, I'd pass.
