I look at it like this. Marner will NOT put me over the hump this year. Malkin will (especially with Crosby out - LOL). So I need to see if I can eventually find a replacement for marner in 2 years (when Malkin slows down).

It's an interesting gamble, that's for sure. I understand the reasoning, makes sense. The price of Marner is just a bit too high for me.

League in signature? Marner all the way. Generally when your league has forward positions, don't trade elite wingers for centers unless those centers are Mackinnon or preferably mcdavid.

He turned me down anyway. I offered him Marner and Krug for Malkin, Yandle and a mid rd pick and he said he was not interested (although his team will not compete for years). Ughhhh....

Malkin will slow down when Crosby returns and is likely to miss time when it matters the most in fantasy. I also prefer Krug to yandle (closer than most would like to admit though), so I think you'll be happy with the non-trade when you look back at this in the spring.

Keep Marner, they reunited the Tavares-Marner magic line from last year and they are going to go with Reilly and Barrie as a top pair to see if they can get things going.

you should thank a baby Jesus he turned you down....Krug > Yandle by quite a bit...Marner is at worst = Malkin already...and has bigger upside. who cares about the pick if you are going for it...
