-Happened while he was a Star employee (May2018 was his hire time), on Twitter ppl are saying it happened last week.
-Stars had no choice but to fire him apparently
-Did not fall under the new plan Bettman talked about last night
-Not an open criminal case against JM
-It was just him. He didn't do something to someone kind of thing.
-The city of Dallas in general is upset the Stars fired their head coach, and not the Cowboys

Didn't involved past or present players. And why would they now fire him over comments made in 2018 to the public when they are doing well? And why would they "get in front" of it a year later? This just seems like they wanted to do something prior to us knowing.

GM Nill said he was told over the weekend about what Montgomery did.
