Who to drop?

With both Kassian and Backstrom eligible to activate, I need to drop someone. I'm trying to engineer a two-for-one trade, but nobody is budging right now. There are Caps fans in my league who might bite on Backstrom, but he's is un-tradable because he's on my IR and eligible to play. So unless I keep Backstrom on the shelf and wait for someone else to go DTD or IR (seems like a waste of a good fantasy player), i need to drop someone. I could drop Giordano and play with 3 D's, or maybe drop Trocheck. Another option would be to try to run with only two goalies and drop Khudo. But we need 4 starts per week and from what I can see, Kuemper is not getting more than 60% of ARI's starts. Anyone else on my roster (below) look worthy of a drop? Who'd be your pick to let go?

Does dropping Kassian & trading Backstrom work?

If I drop Kassian I can keep Backstrom. But I hate to drop Kassian. He's playing with McJesus, 19 points and +9, and he gets me the hits I'm missing. The dude is ranked #29 in our whole league! I don't think I can afford to drop him. Do you think Trocheck or Gio are or will be more valuable than he is? Maybe I'm not seeing this clearly... that's why I'm asking for advice. Thanks!

If Kassian is ranked #29 in your league, he's clearly not droppable.

If you have daily starts, I think Khudobin is your drop, after you get 1 start from him in the next week, and you can try and get a better multi-cat guy in return for Backstrom or a goalie you like more than Khudobin.

I would not run with 3 D.
