Any chance this could be a positive for Marchand? Obviously you’d prefer him to be feeding all those assists to Pasta, but he’s only taken 70 shots all season. Maybe being the top scorer on his line boosts his goal and shot totals???

Or does this move definitely hurt his value if this is long term?

Whenever Boston can't score again... they'll go back to a power line.
Boston can do no wrong right now.

Realistically - there's no UPSIDE to playing with LESS talent... let's not fool ourselves on that for Marchand & Pastrnak.
But... if it helps BOS win games, they'll stay with it.

Once Bergeron's back... they'll need him to find his groove again... and you'll see the boys reunited.

Definitely a bit hit to Marchand's fantasy value, though I'm pretty sure this is a short-term thing.

i can't see it lasting. why split up the best line in hockey. its not like Boston isnt playing well.
