Nice potential team, but unlikely it will look anything like that. You've got a LOT of pros on there that will need to be released.

I dont expect either of your goalies to be there. Olivier Rodrigue should make this team and be the starter. You MIGHT get Dobson from the Islanders but I wouldnt hold my breath. I expect Jacob Bernard Docker, Thomas Harley and Bowen Byram will be there on D. I would be quite surprised if Dylan Cozens isnt there as well. Some other forwards I expect to see there would be Byfield, Perfetti, Lavoie, Noel, Krebs, Newhook, Dellandrea, Foudy. Dach would be nice but unlike he or Hayton will get released either.

Most of these players are 20. Is this just a list of last year's team? What am I missing?

Some interesting names left off the camp roster. Merkley, Rees, Noel, Veleno among the misses.
Also I have never heard of Diliberatore.

Sounds like Veleno's still an option, even though he's not at the camp.

Notable players not on the list include forwards Barrett Hayton of the Arizona Coyotes, Chicago Blackhawks rookie Kirby Dach, Joe Veleno from the Detroit Red Wings' AHL affiliate in Grand Rapids and New York Islanders blueliner Noah Dobson. According to TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie, Veleno – who had two assists in five games last year for Canada – has an "excellent chance" of being released by the Red Wings at the end of camp.

Oh, and the only reason I know anything about Deliberatore is simply because he's from Bedford NS, and I tend to follow the NS kids He's more of a shutdown type D than an offensive one so thats probably why you arent as familiar with him.

That's a lot of draft eligibles! Thats more than normal, right? Know its an exceptional draft for Canada. Crazy seeing a draft eligible goalie though, thats good to see.

Yeah, definitely more than usual, especially in net. Though in net I don't think it's by choice. I think there just weren't really any better options from the 19 and 20 yr old group.

    Goalies:
    Joel Hofer (#107th overall pick 2018) - 23GP (2nd), 619saves (5th), 43GA (16th), 2SO (T-3rd), 1.92GAA (1st), 0.935s% (2nd)

    Nico Daws (draft eligible) - 17GP (T-10th), 545saves (6th), 37GA (T-25th), 3SO (1st), 2.13GAA (1st), 0.936s% (1st)

    Hunter Jones (#59th overall pick 2019) - 21GP (T-2nd), 577saves (5th), 54GA (12th), 1SO (T-3rd) 2.63GAA (3rd), 0.914s% (2nd)

    Olivier Rodrigue (#62nd overall pick 2018) - 19GP (T-12th), 509saves (12th), 49GA (14th), 1SO (T-4th), 2.55GAA (4th), 0.912s% (6th)

    Hofer plays in the WHL
    Rodrigue plays in the QJMHL
Daws and Jones play in the OHL

So...even though Daws is draft eligible, HOLY HECK is he good. The gaps between 1st and 3rd in GAA and S% are ridiculous. He 100% deserves to be one of the main guys and just not a guy along for the ride to get some experience for next yr.

Can someone change the title of this post? It's talking about the roster for team Canada for the 2020 World Junior Hockey Championship.
