With only 9 moves left I would stand pat. Gustafsson seems to be slowly working his way out of his funk. I'd save those moves for situations where it's so obvious you don't even need to ask us here.
12 teams point only H2H league. Weekly lock.
Barrie is available as a FA in my league. Should I drop Gustafsson for him?
Both seems to be waking up a bit, especially Barrie who has points in his last 4 games. Wondering if it's worth the move or its lateral at best?
My other D are Carlson, Theodore, Klingberg and Jones.
The league has a limit of 14 moves annually. I'm at 5 already.
Thx!

I think Nylander is leaving PP1 before Barrie.
Something that has an outside shot of happening is Nylander being dealt. Elliotte Friedman reported during HNIC that the Blues had two high-level guys in the building to watch the Leafs last night and they did it on another recent occasion. Obviously, they're looking for scoring with Tarasenko lost for the season. My speculation is the Blues focus is Nylander. It is possible it's Kapanen or Johnsson, but Nylander makes the most sense to me. Leafs need D and toughness and Dubas said during same broadcast they'd love to have a player along the lines of Tom Wilson who is tough and skilled. Keefe had issues with Nylander "taking his foot off the gas too much" when he was without the puck back when he had him with the Marlies. Softest player on the Leafs by a mile.

Barrie > Gustafsson
Barrie makes things happen and has been unleashed. Gus scores as a byproduct of Kane and Co. while I think Gus is still a buy-low right now, I would bet Barrie outproduces Gus the rest of the season.

Gustafsson is turning the corner too. Like stated above its almost lateral. If you had endless add drops it would be worth it but you don't.
Gustafsson had 17 goals last year, they are not all because of Kane. Its not like he was beside the net tapping them in.

I did end up doing this move. My reasoning is that my principal rivals in this league have problematic D corps and I didn't want them to grab him before me. For some reason, players that are dropped tend to stay longer on the waivers. So Gus will probably need a good and long run of success to be considered again by anyone(a bit like what Barrie's doing now). Hopefully Barrie keeps this up and maybe I turn around and sell him high to one of the GM struggling with their D.
Anyways, thanks all for the inputs.
