I just can't believe how fast society is changing. I am not talking about racial slurs because that's been hashed out for 50 years as a no no but everything in general. I am an older millennial and things that were accepted in my era, like a swat on the ass from your parents if you were being bad, are considered abuse nowadays. I wonder if we have just gone too far. I see kids nowadays post things on social media and get thousands of likes saying "Were honestly a generation of people who feel bad for calling in sick because we are made to feel like a company having staff is more important than our mental and physical health". Like come on, it's usually people being unemployed that say stupid things like this but this will be the cultural norm pretty soon.

It's looking like Hynes should be following Peters shortly.

I'm surprised I'm not waking up to a thread stating this already after last night's debacle.

This is the dark side of the coin, al ot of people don't know how to interact with each other anymore so choose to just be silent. As a male employee you cannot even comment on a female employees attire. I tell the buddy's in the office he looking good today man or what do you have an interview today, when they dress up for a customer. However I would be taking my career in my hands if I comment on a female staff member looking nice. Also further to your point we have cut out Christmas partys and all sorts of social events because of worry about improper behavior. Were entering a dull era, unless your SJW on the internet.

It's got to be Hynes or Julien, right? I know the latter will have a long leash, but they can afford to pay him to go away, and I think they expected much more from this club.

I doubt Julien gets fired any time soon.

Agreed. That would be coach firing #2 for Bergevin and GMs usually only get one. My guess is this losing streak hits 12 and they both go. Unless Bergevin actually does something to fix it. And I’m not talking this Titanic deck chair shuffling goalie nonsense.

Something tells me it's a Western team, and as much as the world says not Laviolette, I'm thinking it. Julien/Begevin are fine until the world stops moving. The Canadiens can go 0-15 and I would still be shocked. The Montreal media calls for the firing of the coach after an 0-3 skid too. So Bergevin doesn't bend because of the media.

I'm just feeling Laviolette. He's been there a while (2014-15), he had a 5yr deal (10mill/5yr) then signed a 2yr extension to go from 2018-2020 back in 2016. I think his time is coming up, but Poile does stick with coaches that's for sure. But gut feeling Laviolette.

Habs players are still fighting for Julien and applying the system. He hasn't lost his room and his leaders are behind him.
It's quite the contrary for Hynes though.
    Points-only keeper league. 12 teams. Keep any 12 players. Dress 12F - 6D - 2G.

    It's got to be Hynes.

Although Ron Rivera just got canned by the Carolina Panthers.
