Default Big Trade Proposal (Will REP) - Team Floundering

    Hi Folks,

My team has been garbage this year, and while some guys are starting to pull out of their slumps I am already looking towards next year. Was wondering what folks think of this trade proposal. I think I am probably being too stingy but I do know that the Kucherov owner is veryyy frustrated with Kuch at the moment, and is a big Pasta fan. Was thinking of proposing this but don't want to poison the water. And also wondering if I am just too itchy to make a move

    I give:
    Pastrnak, Aho, Connor

    I receive:
    Kucherov, Petterson, M. Tkachuk

As I write this it looks like a pretty one sided trade in my favor, any tips on what might be more palatable for the other GM? My team and scoring system are in the sig.

Great trade for you but I can't imagine the other guy taking it. I would assume he's savvy enough to know this is a sell low on Kuch and a buy high on Pasta, whereas the other two pieces are clear wins for you. I would start with Pasta/Kuch and see what he's willing to add. My goal here would be to improve my bottom keeper. Something like Pasta and a few good non-keepers on your roster (Bura, Benn, Connor) for Kuch and one of his solid pieces who'd crack your keepers. Pettersen is likely shooting too high but worth asking if he's in the running to win it.

I actually think this deal is close enough on paper to get the other GM to counter. And who knows - s/he might even accept it. Propose and see what happens.

I also think it in the ball park to get a deal done if the other Gm is willing to do a little back and forth until its right for you both

i actually dont think you selling high on Pasta..i think this is what Pasta is...very dynamic...having said that i still prefer Kucherov side in your set up.

He's shooting 23% and is on pace for 74 goals. I like Pastrnak a lot but he ain't THAT good.

He has enough banked already that he should be a 100pt player in the end, the question is does he burn up his heater in the first half and fade into fantasy playoffs? Or does Kuch start slow and finish with fewer points overall but runs hotter than Pastrnak down the stretch when it counts?

Thanks for the responses folks, more rep given. Turned down without a counter offer, I guess it is back to the drawing board. Maybe take the Connor for Tkachuk out of it
