Laine+ for Marner+

Hi I’m in a 10 team keep 6 league with rosters of 3C 3LW 3RW 4D and 2 goalies + 5 bench ( and IR ) it’s head to head Catagory based with G,A, STP, Hits, Shots, ATOI and PIM as Catagorys. my current 6 keepers are Eichel, Mathews, Rantanen, Laine, Dahlin and Rielly.
A trade I’m considering is

I give- Laine, Kuznetskov and Wilson

I get- Marner, Couture and Nurse

I’m a huge leafs fan and super high on marner which is making me lean towards acceptance. Would I be making a big mistake?

Note- My team is currently in last place.

Last place, I'm assuming you are punting this year. If that's correct, this trade is essentially Marner for Laine. While I can get on board with that, I feel like you can do better, given that Marner is out for awhile, and given that you are also giving up better supplementary pieces for this year. If the trade has to be three for three, I'd suggest you let him give you the two worst players he has. And ask for draft pick(s) back. If you are punting this year, I want more for next year.

I think I'd pass, the extra stuff is too much. YOu may be in last, but you might get hot in a few weeks, and Marner will still be hurt, and avaialable.
