Counter offer, my Wheeler for his Rielly. Good move?

The wheels came off the big trade I was trying to make. Asking for Kuch along with Rielly was a non-starter even though I dangled Vas and Backstrom, his favorite Cap. But he has countered with his Rielly for my Wheeler. What do you think? I am only carrying three D's and could use another, especially someone who gets 70% of the PP time in TOR. Plus, when Rantanen comes back I will have a top RW anyway (and probably drop Vrana). Is this a good move or not?

I might be alone in this, but I say go for it. I like having high end production in low end slots, and having one of the league best defenseman sounds great. Wheeler could be fantastic, but he could also be not as much. I have a feeling most people here will disagree though, and I might be suffering from a classic case of Leafs fan.

Although you're weak on RW, I still think this is a solid deal for you. He must be crazy deep on D to make this offer.

Easy accept. You are short a D and are getting a top one. Really, what is the downside to this?

Hopefully Wheeler will pick up his production, but I haven't seen too much evidence of it so far. I think it's a fair deal.
