No. Not enough high end young talent coming back. Dahlin and Eichel are great, Brady is ok, but less-so in points only, and P. Kane is too old for what you're looking to do. A less limited keeper, but still limited none-the-less. Knowing the rest of your roster would help though too to better understand the keeper implications.

    I’d consider that.

...what 10 players do you plan on keeping from your current roster?

    EDIT:
On second though, probably not since there’s not enough keeper spots to make it worthwhile in comparison to the players you’d be getting vs current players you wouldn’t be able to keep. Still wouldn’t mind hearing the 7 keepers you have in mind.

I'd want to look into it further, but on the face of it, that is a reasonable offer. Doesn't mean I like it or want to trade McDavid, but Eichel, Kane, Dahlin &Tkachuk for McDavid is something to consider.

If you post your existing 10 keepers, and your post trade 10 keepers, I think you'll get more informative responses. We're lazy, that's a lot of work to do. There are likely many borderline players in a keep 10.

    Right now keepers are:

McDavid, Svechnikov, Kuz, Rantanen, Tank, Landeskog, Chabot, Makar, Hart and either Samsonov/Gibson. After would be: Kane, Eichel, Svech, Kuz, Rantanen, Tank/Landeskog, Makar, Dahlin, Chabot, and Hart. I could probably consolidate 2 of these until an upgrade pretty easily.

Looking at it that way I don't know if it makes a ton of sense now as it Eichel and Kane are great but it pushes out a goalie and one of tank/landeskog who in this format are decent with the powerplay points.

Yep, just what I was suspecting after rethinking it

Trickle down effect is too much to be giving up McDavid

In a limited points only keeper you simply can't trade McDavid. I don't care what is being offered, the guy has the talent to get you 30-40 points more than your league's next best skater in any given year. You can't ask for a better building block.

Pushing out a goalie is a good thing when it's a non-elite option. I think the deal is solid enough, but I'd want to consolidate that other upgrade before pulling the trigger.

Don't trade him in a limited keeper. You'll regret it.

See this thread for further evidence against trading him:

    Set roster weekly in H2H (Mon to Sun) - 16 Teams - start 6F, 3D, and 1G per week - Keep 2

    Points: 2 G / 2 A / 1 PPG / 1 PPA / 1 Hat Trick / 1 SHG / 1 SHA / 1 GWG - 3 Goalie Win / 2 Goalie Loss in SO or OT / 5 goalie SO

    Forwards:
