    Default Seguin - I'll Rep

Where would you rank him keeper wise going forward and given my formatting?

I've got Boeser right now, but just wondering if anyone thinks Boeser will continue to be the better asset moving forward?

Right now Boeser has 55 fantasy pts to Seguin 29, but I know a lot more was expected from Seguin this year.

I have Boeser as well but I would trade him for Seguin. He’ll turn it around.

Oh sorry I thought you meant both were on your team and you were deciding who to keep. If you have Boeser I’d say keep him for now. To me, the Stars are just all over the place.

I still would. Seguin started pretty badly last year too--then the CFO called the team horseshit and things turned around.
I think they added a lot of pieces this year and it's taking some time to adjust. My gut says he, Benn, Pavelski, Klingberg, and Radulov have much better second halves when they figure out how to work together on the PP.

Seguin is just 27years old and has been one of the most consistent players in fantasy hockey.
    Past six full seasons of play with DAL: 80, 78, 72, 73, 77, 84
    http://www.espn.com/nhl/player/stats...0/tyler-seguin

Somebody good with stats would have to calculate a standard deviation/mean calculation of any player in the NHL. (i.e. a "Tightness in his variance of production")
I'd bet Seguin would have lowest value there vs. any other past-6-year NHL player-line.

Even with the slow start (13pt in 20gp), I bet he ends up btw. 70-80pts.
i.e. 57-67pts in last 62gp... which paces that part of season for 75-88pts in that part of season.

Yes, still valued higher than Boeser, IMO.

STD Deviation of Top Players over the last 5 seasons (not including this yr):
    Kucherov - 26.28
    Ovechkin - 9.10
McDavid - 30.70 (used 4 seasons not in league 2014-15, and his first season where he only had 48pts)
    MacKinnon - 28.21
    Crosby - 6.35
    Marchand - 22.96
    P.Kane - 19.52
    Pastrnak - 27.99
    Burns - 8.87
    Stamkos - 29.83 (20pt injured season)
    Tavares - 10.06
Panarin - 5.12 (used 4 seasons as he wasn't in the league in 2014-15)

    Seguin - 3.39

*if you remove McDavid's injury season, and use his last 3 seasons. His STD Deviation is 8 (not hard to really see lol. 100, 108, 116)

Thanks for the info, how do you guys view Seguin vs Hall in a keeper? With either of those guys, I wouldn’t be replacing Boeser with a rw which is unfortunate, but I’ll still be fine rw wise. The fact is, Seguin gm wants a 4 with Boeser, and Hall owner would be straight up. Is Hall’s injury risk worth say maybe his higher upside? I just love Boeser, and he has started so well so hesitant to move a good winger that’s just 22 going on 23. Not a slam dunk hall or Seguin do better than Boeser rest of season.

Also, how does everyone view Nylander vs Boeser going forward? If I can’t get a stud type rw in a Boeser deal whenever I move him, I’d probably look at Nylander type guys, just seems Boeser has been better in his career, more sure minutes and he’s even 9 months younger. Nylander playing a lot with Marner out.
