I've been patient but is it time to cut ties with Labanc? I was optimistic looking at his linemate Coutures monster numbers across the board last night that he would have had a good game as well but no. The only box Couture didn't tick was PM. I get Labanc is no Couture but he puts up 1 SOG and is a -1. Labanc currently sits at -14 on the season with only Anthasiou ahead of him leading all forwards with a -19.

Two wins in a row for the Sharks. Is this the turn around and I need to remain patient or bail?

I’ve struggled with same thing. In standard Yahoo league, 12 teams x 16 players, I dropped him 10 days ago. In deeper league, 12 x 25 players, I’ve held on and remain frustrated. In part, it depends how deep your FA pool is. I’d trade him, but at this point I might get a used toaster oven in compensatory value.

Like always it depends on your scoring format and who is available on the waiver wire. I have continued to hold him hoping he picks it up and because nothing more enticing is available.

Who can you grab off the waiver wire?

I'm holding for now as well. He's def missing chemistry with Jumbo Joe. Hertl has been looking good though, I think KLB will be fine.

Well all the hype early on leads us to this point. Kevin Labanc is a hell of a good young hockey player and I believe he is a prospect that will find his way to relevance. But, it will take some time. More info on your league is critical here, but if this a Dynasty or a deep keeper, you absolutely have to have patience.

He slipped up a few games ago a couple selfish plays and stayed out too long on a shift and gave up the puck for a gwg against. He was called out by Cotoure for it.. Perhaps being punished and explains the lack of shooting. I watched him pretty close lately he has the skill and skating just needs to put it together and gain confidence. As a Labanc owner I am hoping for a trade.

You are overvaluing him; a toaster oven - even used - still has a purpose and some value. You're more likely to bet a Betamax...
