Attn Dobber: Page Redirects

I don't mind ads, and totally understand the need to create revenue from the site, but I really dislike when this site redirects me to sketchy external webpages. This has been happening a lot lately..

Every time I log in I am constantly directed to external webpages. Definitely a glitch hacked into the Dobber site....

I'd send an email to dobber to make sure he gets this. even better if you have a screenshot of the ad(s) in question.

For the record, this hasn't happened to me. (so it also might be helpful if you tell him what device you are using, browser etc)

Yes, email Dobber and if he doesn't get back to you then let me know and I'll get the message to him. Some useful information to include:

Your general location
The address of the website you were redirected to
Where it happened within Dobber's sites (ie forum, main site, Frozen Tools, etc)

I use the apple safari platform.
I live in British Columbia Canada.
I will take some screen shots of the pop ups tomorrow (I am at work now). My pop ups are generally virus warnings.
These pop up only happen on the Dobber site. They come up repeatedly. I just press the back arrow on my browser to get back to Dobber.
These only happen on my laptap that runs safari. No problems here at work on a PC.

Ive never had it happen to me on a desktop computer but I've had it happen to me on my Android cell a few times.

When I use my desk top, it doesn't happen. I use Google from my pc. When I use my iPad which is Safari, it happens constantly to the point where Dobber is virtually unusable. However it has only happened for the last few days.

Yes we are aware about the mobile + forum combination being a cause for problems. Without knowing more information (listed in my first reply) we can't find the ads in question and remove them.

Sometimes unwanted ads make their way into the pool of ads that can be displayed based on our criteria. The more we know about where the problems are coming from, the easier we can put an end to the problem and the quicker you'll be able to browse the forum problem-free
