Default Hischier - Worth a 2nd Waiver Pick?

This is for my keeper league in sig.

Nino Hischier is dropped and I'm tempted to use my 2nd overall to pick him up. Is he worth it?
    - I like that he adds to my FW but doesn't offer much stats otherwise
    - Malkin is coming off IR and I planned on dropping Gusev or Compher to activate him.
    - I'll have to drop Gusev / Compher to pick up Hischier
    - With Hischier, I'll have 5 C-only player on roster
    - He won't be rookie eligible after this season and most likely won't make my keeper squad

I've never owned him before but with his first overall rep and playing on L2 behind Hughes, I'm wondering if there's a chance of season-long value.

    Thanks!

i think he will return to play with hall sooner rather than later. they have played a ton of minutes together and have shown some pretty solid chemistry.

but i could be wrong as nj will likely continue to shelter hughes going forward

right now it looks like all NJ players have no value at all...however i would definitely do this. They will eventually snap out of it and those starts should produce, including Hischier

Hischier still playing on the 3rd line tonight...

but has put up two apples in the first two periods.

I agree with Blues fan that, sooner or later, he'll be back with Hall and/or PP1. I think Hischier will still put up 65 this year despite the poor start.

Who should I drop? I have Tuch and Malkin coming back also.

Probably drop Compher and Gusev and eventually Tuch also

Hischier for Gusev is an easy move.

Figure out what to do with Tuch/Malkin when they return.

Tuch should be back tomorrow, Malkin on Saturday.

Let's see if I can get Hischier first!

The first waiver ended up taking him...
