14 points in 22 games is .63 points per game. Over an 82 game season, that is about 52 points over a full healthy season at PP2 deployment. He's shooting at a pretty low shooting percentage, so that 52 number should normalize a little higher. The whole issue is his power play deployment. Because PP1 is working well, there's no reason for Florida to change things up. We'll have to re-evaluate if Hoffman goes elsewhere.

I predict a complete turnaround in this thread from Feb - to end of season. Trocheck seems like the type of player bound to have a large second half.

Hopefully. Coach needs to give him ore ice time, though. He's only averaging 17 mins/game.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

I'd look at it the other way.

Troch needs to do MORE with the ice time he's given then he'll get more ice time.

This could be load management due to the previous injury

I don't think he is a 70-point player, He never was, really, just had that one magical season. Other than that, he is a 55-point player. More valuable if you count hits and pim than just points.
I'm starting to think Trocheck is one of those overrated fantasy players based on the one season he had and his multi-cat value.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

Im kind of in the 55-60 point camp with badass peripherals (but thats still solid af in the leagues I play anyways). I also agree he likely hasnt fully peaked and could at the very least get back to the 75 point plateau a couple times. A guy like that with not a lot of risk of the floor bottoming out has a ton of value imho.

the injury he had takes about a year to fully heal.
assuming everything has gone well to date...
he was stupid to come back as fast as he did. should have just packed it in last season
we should start to see improved play and production out of him moving forward

Yes i understand the injury was big and it takes time but i had this guy as a real
    70+ pt player.
now with all the fwrds that florida is getting and has briught in, i don’t see the coach Q using him
like a golden boy. seems to be a 3rd liner with 2nd PP going forward am i wrong??
people in my keeper want guys like letang or other legit 50 pt dmen for him.
not sure i would do a trade like that unless i know he is legit 70 pt fwrd.

Hold Trocheck if you're an owner.. he's on an upward trend.
Goals, assists, points, PIM, PPP, SHP, GWG, SOG, FW, hits, blocks, goalie wins, GAA, Sv%, shutouts.

8 teams - Keep 6 in bold (including maximum of 1 goalie).

Kaprizov, Rantanen, Svechnikov, Larkin, Hischier, Horvat, Batherson, Trocheck, Reinhart, Marchessault, Buchnevich, Tarasenko, Boeser, Meier, Tolvanen, Lafreniere, Barbashev, Teravainen.

Heiskanen, Theodore, Chabot, Chychrun, Sanheim, Weegar, Burns, Sergachev (IR).

    Saros, Skinner.

Sure you can say that. But the question remains the same.
is he a 70+ pt player or 55-60?

i think jury is still out.
