    Default Radulov Question?

    Hey guys,

Radulov was dropped and comes off the wire later tonight. Given my team and cats in the sig, would you say he's worth burning a waiver wire for?

If yes, who would you drop? I'm thinking Palmieri...

    Thanks in advance!

I would drop Kessel before Palmieri. I've always found Kessel to be overrated in multi cat setups and he's even lost value going to AZ. Palmieri on the other hand is often underrated and I like him much more with your cats. A steady 55-60 pts, 200+ SOG and 100+ hits when all is said and done.

That being said, I'm not sure I'd burn waiver for Radulov. Dallas has been crappy and his minutes are down a little from the last two seasons. His hits per game have declined as well. I would stand pat for now.

If 12 teams are rostering about 8 forwards... that's only about 100 forwards in play.
And... this is "weekly set", so you are picking your best 6F any given week.
And... of those... only probably your top 4-5F (48-60total) are ALWAYS and the 5th/6th forward might be schedule-based, i.e. 4gp in a week.

So... Radulov, he's only a fringe forward right now.
And Dallas is leading the NHL in games-played, with 11... so there's no likely good schedule-density upcoming.

You also have to look at Dallas schedule for the next few months:
    Starting next week, # game per week: 3, 2, 3, 3, 4, 3, 3, 4 *XMAS*

IDK... I don't actually think he's worth burning your waiver priority.
He's not SIGNIFICANTLY better than Palmieri or Kessel.
That's what using your waiver priority is for... getting a SIGNIFICANT upgrade.
