Thoughts on Kreider?
Kreider hit the wire this morning, so I've already put a claim in dropping Gusev.
Looks like Kreider is getting deployed on that top line with Zib and Panarin, so hopefully that gets him RW eligibility.
I think that's a pretty good use of my #2 waiver position. Other options to drop are:
- Nino - not producing but he's still getting good deployment
- Pulock - got him off the wire and being patient with him, but strongly considering dropping him for the Byfuglien lottery ticket
- Raanta - Only drafted him because he was still there in the 11th, and I thought it was good value. I don't really need him with my other 2 goalies and his situation has kinda gone to shit.

Kreider needs a new team, which he'll get either this spring or over the summer. With that UFA payday in his sights I'd guess he'll up the effort as the season goes along, so I think you'd be well served getting him.

To be honest I’m not sure I’d use my 2nd waiver position on Kreider. He’s definitely an upgrade in Gusev, but you may never make it this high in waiver priority all season. Probably worth holding it until someone makes an even worse drop decision.
