    Default Giroux or Huberdeau

Which do you prefer? Points Only, 1.5 for goals, 1 for assists. I think there pretty even maybe slight edge to giroux but I wanted some opinions. Thanks.

I'll go for Hubs with the slight edge to goals.

I prefer Huberdeau. More goals, more points last year and so far this season, and he is younger. Age isn't always a factor, but Huberdeau is in his prime years and Giroux is over 30, which is often when players start to decline. I'm not saying Giroux won't be fantasy relevant for many more years, but it wouldn't surprise me if the decline from 102 two years ago to 85 pts last year continues to 75 pts this year. I can see Huberdeau score 85 to 90 pts this coming season, assuming Barkov's injury is nothing serious.

Goals boost tilts the scales toward Huberdeau, as does the fact that Giroux is playing for Vigneault, whose style has not lent itself to high scoring teams in his recent coaching years.
