Another game with no shots, zeros across the board except for 3 faceoff wins. I’d take Neal even though neither player will continue thier pace. McDavid-factor.

On the same fence but the WW fodder isnt that attractive.

From that group id take a swing at Neal or Oshie but i may be biased .

I managed to pull off a one-for-one and moved Pavelski for Hertl early this season. Love that buy low window opportunity!

I think the unpredictability of his new role in Dallas makes cutting him an easy decision. I'm in a similar situation, although it's a deep deep league with next to nothing in the UFA pool.

Neal will see peaks and valleys this yr, but there's a good chance he'll be productive come the end of the season and retain PP1 status. Who knows where he finishes this yr overall, or if he repeats next yr, but I think the upgrade on Pavelski will end up being worth it.

Only other option I'd consider would be Silverberg as he could have a good season and linemates this yr & next.

Considering the meager options on waivers, I'd probably stick with Pavelski for now. My only reason is that the entire Dallas team is struggling. No one besides Heiskanen and Hintz has been putting up fantasy-worthy numbers. The team only has two wins in 10 games. Dallas won't be a great team, but they are better than their current record indicates. I think a turnaround will happen soon, and the team as a whole will start to play better, and then Pavelski's numbers should improve. I'm not super high on him or Dallas in general, but you don't have great options on waivers and Dallas isn't "this" bad.

Tough time to own Pavelski (I have him in a keeper).
He's really not even getting decent linemates to play with.
This is how Jim Montgomery currently had the Stars in last game:

    Dickinson-Seguin-Radulov
    Benn-Hintz-Perry
    Janmark-Faksa-Pavelski
    Cogliano-Dowling-Gurianov

Fortunately they scored 3 goals on 15 shots on Carter Hart (PHI)... but they really didn't play that well.

Fortunately, ye Pavelski fans, things might be changing... 'cause Tyler Seguin has been sputtering too:
    Dickinson-Seguin-Pavelski
    Benn-Hintz-Perry
    Janmark-Faksa-Radulov
    Cogliano-Dowling-Gurianov

    Pavelski & Radulov flip-flopped.
    Maybe this jump starts Pavelski.

Also - apparently there was a substantial tornado in Dallas area.
Seguin & Bishop both had their houses damaged:

    Seguin's house:

^That's some crazy Halloween-level-shit right there.

If he doesn’t do something against Ottawa tonight, that’s enough reason to bail.

Side note to this, Ottawa just called up their AHL healthy scratch.

If there's one certainty in life it's that my subjective view on Pavelski turns out to be the opposite of what actually happens, and in the Fantasy Guide I had him pegged for a poor season, which therefore means he should turn things around.
