Samsonov vs saros vs merzilinkis - this year and keeper
Hey guys,
I am currently in a bad G situation where i just traded for aho in a package that included markstrom. I am now left out with Dubnyk as my 1G and georgiev & saros.
Samsonov and merzilinkis are FA.
Team 1 in sig. minimum 3 GS. I’d like to pick a guy now that will potentially breakout and help this year (get my 3 GS) and potentially become a keeper for next year over dubnyk.
So, planning to keep dubnyk and georgiev. Who should my 3rd G be?
Saros, samsonov or merzilinkis?

10 team Head-to-head true dynasty. Roster 33, draft 2, cut down before season. Start 1 G, 1 backup G, 6 D, 12 F arranged in 4 lines of 3. Only categories that matter are Goals, Assists, Save% with a shutout bonus. Having NHL teammates helps.

Samsonov has had the higher pedigree from these three for some time. We're now seeing why. I'd pick him up.

Samsonov. Although I don't see any of your goalies as keepers, and I think you'll really struggle to hit 3 starts with what you have. Tradinng Markstrom pretty much killed your chances for this year unless you can find a starter somewhere else.

Making a bet on one of samsonov/georgiev to take over starter this year. Or injury..
