Drop 1 - Couturier, Kopitar or Barzal

League scoring settings for skaters are as follows..

G, A, +/- , PPP, Shots

At the moment Yahoo has them ranked at 1. Kopitar 2. Barzal 3. Couturier

Barzal has been coming on stronger as of late and Kopitar may be having another one of his 1 off 1 on seasons. I am leaning towards dropping Couturier here. Other C currently on the waiver wire include Toews, Kadri, Dubois, Horvat and Strome.

Thoughts?

Why do you have to drop 1? I’d be more inclined to try and trade one

I dont think I'll be able to trade one. Its not a deep league (10 teams). I'll try to trade but will most likely end up dropping one.

But why are you looking to drop one? Philly has only played 5 games, and he has 3 points. Not a bad start. If it's due to perceived underperformance, it's a bit early to make such a move IMO. Over a full season I would prefer Couturier over those other options.

I also agree, Couturier is two way stud (my #1 pick), Barzal is trending up (but he doesn't shoot much) and Kopitar has a hot start/name value.

The reason I need to drop one of these players is due to Doughty coming off the IR. I had picked up Barzal off waivers and I am now thinking about keeping him over Couts or Kopitar. I am currently rolling with 4 C.. 5 if you include Domi with dual eligibility. Here is my roster. We have 16 man rosters but I have 17 players currently.
