Grab Kerfoot off Waivers?

Hello all.

I just lost Tavares and was wondering if Kerfoot is worth the pick up off Waivers. I sit at 8 of 12 on the waiver wire. I think he can produce in my league but I'm wondering if it's worth falling to the bottom of the waiver wire to acquire him until Tavares returns? I have a hard time knowing when's a good time to use my waiver wire spot. This won't take effect until next week (Monday).
