In your OP you didn't mentioned who you consider to drop for one of Henrique or Silfverberg but it was obvious to me(before I saw your latest post) that your dilemma is to drop Hughes or not. I would say NO. We are still very early in the season. Dont make a premature move. Hughes is still my favorite for Calder.

I was thinking dropping either trocheck, getzlaf or hughes. I don't know about hughes. He obviously has lots if skill but the devils are not good and it seems like they're pinning all their hopes he'll be the savior this year right out of the gate. Yes he got an assist last night. But it was a secondary assist.

It was a primary assist, and the Devils are doing anything but pinning their hopes on him by placing him on third line (although this doesn't exactly help). Do yourself a favour and watch the game recaps, and pay attention to #86. Hughes has incredible hockey IQ and is usually in the right spot to make things happen, and pucks will start going in (I was close to dropping him myself before I took a look).

If you drop Hughes, I promise you someone else will reap the rewards. Henrique and Silverberg are stopgaps at best, and I also promise you that you'll be dropping them later.

I would hold, and FOR THE LOVE OF THE HOCKEY GODS DO NOT DROP TROCHECK.

For Silfveberg or Henrique?

it's decisions like these that win pools for other GM's.

Not sure. Silfverberg will probably get more points. Henrique will probably get more goals.

Trocheck can crack 70, Getzlaf can get into the 50s along with PIMs for your league, and Hughes has an outside shot of cracking 60. Henrique and Silfverberg can both be considered a success if they break into the 50s, and so the move is lateral at best.

If you're intent on adding them in spite of how terrible an idea it is, you have way too many centers and I would not drop any of yours for Henrique so scratch him. If you want to add Silfverberg, drop Hughes, but again, I would wait. For how shallow your league is, I promise you there will be another 50 point player to add later (honestly, I'm surprised these are your two best options).
