Gio vs branstrom R Thomas and Rasmus Anderson

I'm trying to go for the win this year.

I have a trade on the table that would almost make sure I win.

Is Gio for my branstromm, Thomas and R Andersson.

Seems like I should pull the trigger but want to validate with the community first.

Gio would likely replace Tony DeAngelo.

At Gio's age... I think you're giving up too much talent - especially this early in the year. I'd be trying to knock off Brannstrom or Thomas from this deal based on age.

I don't like this deal. You would be acquiring at best a 60 pt dman, and truthfully probably more likely a 50 pt player. Giordano had a career year last season and is very likely to regress.

You said you'd have to drop DeAngelo, who is probably a 30 pt player, so the difference is only 20 pts (give or take), yet you are giving up three decent prospects. Seems a bit rich to me.

Gio had a career year last year because almost everyone on Calgary had a career year. I wouldn't rely on that happening ever again. I sold Gio high this off season and I'm glad
