Default Carlson stealing Backstrom's most underrated player award.

Just a beast in all situations. Last night he looked dynamite vs the Leafs. This guy is well on his way to another 70 point season and might be the better own of the two Karlsson, Carlsons?

Carlson has been a savior for me so far this year (along with Laine). I have Karlsson, Carlson, and Dahlin as potential D keepers so I am currently trying to sell Carlson for an elite F keeper. I was pretty excited when I picked him up since he is a clear top 5 D with the potential to be #1 on any given year

Carlson is great but Backstrom is criminally underrated and should have at least one Selke trophy.

I have been watching both Carlson and Backstrom for quite some time now. To say the least I think both are extremely underrated. Carlson mans a blue line with the best of them and as much as people talk about OV on the PP and what Backstrom does as a magician with passing the puck on the PP it is Carlson who really runs that PP.

Backstrom like I said has hands that are so soft and can work some amazing magic with it. It doesn't seem to matter who is on the ice with him he still makes these unbelievable passes. I am 100% sure when OV enters the Hockey Hall Of Fame Backstrom will be the first person he thanks as a player.

All I can really say is that in my 10 player points pool... Carlson is saving my ass with Malkin out early. One can hope he can even remotely keep up a pt/gm pace for 3-4 more weeks

Wow just rolling. Obviously this won't sustain but he's certainly given himself some buffer room for a dip and still end up with 70+ points this season.

What's awesome is that Carlson has 10 even-strength-assists...
    That's ballin'.
He had 68pts and 70pts the last two years... the only thing that is artificially high right now is his goals... he has 5g, probably normalizes to 2g... but that's only 3 extra points.
He's having an awesome season, even without the luck factor on SH%.

Incredible run he's on. He's in elite company when it comes to defensemen points in the first month, and they were doing it in the 80s during the 4-3 scores that were typical across the league,
