Benn (Jamie obviously), Palmieri and a 2021 2nd pick.

For a contender team for the foreseable future (aka my team)

I have to free one spot so I can play Olofsson (who is otherwise stuck in my minors).

What do you think?

I do really like Teravainen, but the key is could Jamie Benn have a comeback year? I really think the 2021 2nd round pick is irrelevant because it is so far out and so much can happen with that pick from now to then. Olofosson needs to come up from your minors which might be the key for you to making this trade. He seems like he is ready for the show and could be a key contributor to your team. So you really have to bank on Benn having a comeback season to make this trade work. If that happens it will be a good trade for you. Olofosson already looks good.

I really am losing faith in Dallas. I mean they cannot be this bad same with Palmieri but not sure I’m seeing the faith.

If they do turn it around then I think you might just come up ahead slightly but if not this will look bad.

Would it be possible to make a drop and run a Carrier or Reaves or Lucic type out for mass amounts of hits instead?

Yup, I am good in offensive stats, but lack a bit in hits. That's why I am considering this move.

That's actually not a bad idea at all. In fact, at thje beginning, the trade I wanted to do was TT vs Benn, one on one, but the other gm wants more and I needed to clear some space... so the deal got bigger

Following your suggestion, would Girard and TT be too much to pay for Benn? This is my impression.
