With Malkin out 6-10 weeks should I package him with another player for immediate scoring help?

That sounds like a 'Concrete' plan to me!

I like the idea of trying to ship Malkin on his name value... but other owners always dis-value him because of his injuries

It's definitely a reasonable idea, but I'm not sure how much value you will truly get based on him being out ~ 2 months. If you can get a manager to overpay, then go for it. I might go for the gold and package Point and Malkin trying to get McDavid, Kucherov or similar.
In a 10 league where we start 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 4D and 2 G daily. It is a H2H league - we keep 3 players (1 G max), are allowed a max of 2 keeps for each player. The number in brackets is the number of keeps I have left:

G, A, +/-, PIMs, PPG, PPA and Shots.
C - Larkin, Couturier, Kopitar, Cirelli
LW - OV, Panarin (1), Schenn (C), Ehlers (RW), Kreider
RW - Kucherov (0), Seguin (C), Palmieri, Voracek, Yamamoto
    D - Yandle, DeAngelo

    W, GAA, SV% and Saves.
G - Rask, Varlamov, Hart, Mrazek
    IR+ - Tarasenko

I offered Malkin+Monahan for Kucherov... a bit of a low ball, and it was rejected, which is fair. Not sure I want to part with Point, he'll be benefiting from Kuch all season.

How are you doing so far? If you can keep your head above water and stay in the playoff picture its worth exploring the idea of keeping him. i think Malkin is due for a big yuear and will be palying with a chip on his shoulder when he gets back. i see a few late round steals in guys like Olofsson and Hintz that might keep you afloat during his absence. i also expect a big second half out of kakko and Gusev as they acclimate and their team situations level out. if youve got a 500 record and are close every week so far- Id stand pat...

It's actually not a h2h fantasy league. Just straight points, and I'm 12th of 13, way back of the lead already. I'd rather stand pat as you suggest, but I'm losing ground not having a key star in my lineup. No IR btw

if you can find another team to tie their ship to your anchor... I think it's going to be hard to do in this format. It never hurts to try.

I'm curious... what is on the wire?
